Andy John
Ex-Detective Chief Superintendent
Andy is experienced at a National strategic level from serving as a staff officer to a Chief Constable who was the National Portfolio lead for Conflict Management.
Andy was the Head of the CID and has operational experience as the Head of the Force Uniform Policing Department and as a Strategic Firearms Commander.
Aled is an SIO and a Strategic Firearms Commander. He was responsible for all uniform assets including response, neighbourhood and roads policing. He was the Senior Identification Manager working with the FCO and UK disaster victim identification, relating to an International air crash.
A former MPS senior police officer with over 30 years of experience in public safety and law enforcement. Extensive knowledge in strategic leadership and management, learning and development, change management and police assessment.
Gary was a BCU Commander in Dyfed Powys Police. Gary was an SIO with experience of leading major crime investigations and also in writing force policies and procedure within the public protection arena. He was the All Wales lead on Safeguarding Children.
Experienced and accredited in a wide range of policing skills including Major Investigation, Firearms & Public Order Command, Post-Incident Management, CT Security Co-ordination, Response- and Community Policing.
Currently working with a Middle-Eastern Law Enforcement Organisation developing and building capability.
An experienced senior officer with the MPS with expertise in Hostage Negotiating, Counter Terrorism, Emergency Response, Policing Investigations, Intelligence Sharing and Risk and Crisis Management.
